Back behind the camera soon

PHOTOGRAPHER Paul France (pictured) is looking forward to getting back behind the view finder hopefully in the summer.

He started his career with the Redditch Indicator, before moving to the Gloucestershire Echo.

As a freelance, his pictures have appeared in most of the nationals and he had a long association with the Daily Telegraph.

His many PR clients included global brands.

He largely gave up photography following the death of his wife, a decade ago, but kept his hand in covering sport, especially football and cricket.

Paul has been unwell for the past two years, culminating in major surgery to remove a chardoma in September 2022.

He is making a steady recovery and hopes to start playing golf and taking photographs again before too long. Paul expects to be working for akpr, founded by Press Club Board member Adrian Kibbler.
