The Young Journalists Network members supported by Birmingham Press Club, returned at the Colmore Tap on Colmore Row on 16th  September for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak.

Birmingham Press Club (Chairman) Llewela Bailey and Board member Tony Adams were also invited as guest speakers which was attended by more than forty young aspiring journalists and media and communications professionals, through its association with the Press Club.

ITV Central journalist George Hancorn (pictured), who has succeeded fellow TV journalist Lewis Warner as organiser, said: “We are very pleased that we are now able to kick-start events again following the easing of coronavirus restrictions.”

Press Club Chairman Llewela Bailey commented: “to see so many young media students and young journalists “network” is a key factor in the continuing existence of the Press Club.”

Tony Adams Press Club Board member commented “The Young Journalists Network is leading the way to forge links with the mainstream media industry and senior peers, good to see the press club is playing a pivotal role”
