He’s battled through stiff competition to reach the finals of Britain’s Got Talent. Seen off rivals to take the English Comedian of the Year crown in 2018. And won the British Army’s Operational Service Medal for entertaining the troops in warzones.
Now Nick Page is preparing for his latest challenge - addressing guests at Birmingham Press Club’s annual Christmas Lunch!
Described by The Guardian newspaper as a “bear-like man with a host of unbelievable stories about life, love and brushes with the law,” Nick has delighted audiences at comedy festivals around the world.
And between cruises and expat bookings he’s now performed in over half of the world’s countries and even kept busy during Covid lockdown performing over 100 online gigs from a studio in his garage.
Many of his stories are (mostly) true accounts of a bizarre life guaranteed to raise a laugh.
Press Club chairman Llewela Bailey said: “Nick has wowed audiences around the world. Now it’s our turn to be entertained by this very talented performer.”
The Christmas lunch, which is being sponsored by the Shakur Investment Group, takes place on 12 December at the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham. Tickets for the festive three-course meal (plus a drinks reception) are £49.50, VAT included,
