Edgbaston Golf Club – often described as a “secret oasis” in the heart of Birmingham, located just over a mile from the city centre – is the setting for this year’s Christmas lunch organised by Birmingham Press Club.

The event will take place on Monday 20 December with a reception at 12.30 pm and lunch at 1.15 pm. Dress code is smart casual or business/lounge suits. Individual tickets for a three-course lunch will cost £39 (inc VAT).

The Clubhouse is a Georgian Grade II listed building and was officially opened as the Club’s headquarters in 1937 by Prime Minster Neville Chamberlain after the Club relocated from Harborne
